On the 2nd of April, we hosted our first virtual Meet the Team (MTT) event.

To coincide with each Associate Consultant recruitment round we host a MTT event to give future applicants an insight of what life is like at CHR before applying. Our previous events consisted of applicants meeting a selection of our consultants at a central London venue, where there were talks from one of our partners, Matteo, and presentations from three consultants, along with drinks and nibbles!

With the current pandemic, we wanted to make sure that we kept our MTT events running, as we feel they are a unique way of providing information to our applicants about applying to CHR.

For our first virtual MTT, we maintained the same structure as previous events and had around 50 attendees logging on to our meeting. We had presentations from Emma, a Senior Associate, who outlined the application process and Zoe, a Consultant, who talked about the work we do at CHR. Finally, Del, an Associate presented an insights into his first 6 months in the business.

After the presentations, we held a Q&A session where candidates had the opportunity to answer any additional questions. As an incentive, we planted a tree for every question asked in the session which is in line with one of our key schemes, CHR for Nature. We received very positive feedback from the event, where candidates stated that they had a better understanding of what the Associate Consultant role entails and what we do at CHR.
