Jo Haigh

Over the last 30+ years, Jo has provided specialist support to owner-managed businesses to help them with their succession planning, exit options, fundraising, director-level training, and strategic planning. In 1989 Jo founded fds, an award-winning corporate finance boutique, which is now employee-owned. Throughout her career, Jo has bought and sold more than 400 companies, sat on over 40 boards, and delivered director-level training to thousands of delegates.

Jo is also a regular presenter on corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions for prestigious organisations across the UK and internationally. Throughout her career, Jo has been presented with many respected industry awards, such as the Business Service Award on behalf of the CBI First Women Awards and The Sunday Times NED of the Year.

When Jo isn’t busy travelling the country to support her clients, she likes to spend time with her grandchildren, family and friends and spending time at her second home in Whitby – after all, she did have a Dracula-themed birthday party once.
