Brendan joined the pharmaceutical industry in 1997. In a career spanning 23 years he has worked in several roles spanning Business Analytics, Forecasting, Market Research and Competitive Intelligence for global Pharmaceutical majors including Merck, AstraZeneca, Amgen, Lundbeck and Boehringer Ingelheim.
During this time, he has acquired a wealth of knowledge across a spectrum of methodologies to support brands, primarily in antibiotics, immunology, HIV, oncology, respiratory medicine and diabetes and across the product lifecycle, with particular focus on helping companies developing product launch strategies.
Brendan moved from client-side into consulting in 2013, helping companies develop their competitive strategy. He has a special interest in product evaluations and has advised several companies on potential product and company acquisitions. During this period, he has lectured at Cambridge University on pharmaceutical brand development and led teaching modules at the British Healthcare Business Intelligence Association on market and product forecasting.
