As a partner of Cambridge Healthcare Research, Matteo heads the Generics and Biosimilar division as well as the Medical Devices team, where he uses his significant experience in delivering competitive strategy projects for global pharmaceutical companies across the product life cycle. Matteo is also responsible for company operations and process development.
Matteo’s expertise encompass clinical and commercial development strategies at both the product and franchise level, brand plan development and life cycle management. Prior to CHR, Matteo had a varied career which involved both consulting and entrepreneurship, working out of the UK and Singapore, leading global research efforts across therapeutic areas.
Matteo received his PhD from the University of Edinburgh and holds an MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Cambridge. In 2015, Matteo rowed across the Atlantic Ocean solo in 52 days winning the solo category of the Talisker Atlantic Challenge and raising awareness and support for two fantastic charities: Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) and Associazione Italiana per la Lotta al Neuroblastoma. Now that he has ‘retired’ from ocean rowing he likes to stay fit through boxing.
