Cambridge Healthcare Research Appoints Chief Financial Officer

Cambridge Healthcare Research [CHR] is thrilled to announce the appointment of Andrew Milward as the new Chief Financial Officer [CFO].

Andrew, originally from Timaru, New Zealand, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics and a Master of Engineering in Management from the University of Canterbury. Andrew started his career with PwC in the Corporate Finance team, working on business mergers and acquisitions, valuations, and financial modelling. Since relocating to the UK in 2017, he has worked in the tech industry, supporting listed companies globally, and most recently, he has been with a holding company managing special effects and post-production businesses for films, TV shows, and advertising.

In Andrew’s own words: “These diverse experiences have given me valuable insights into various industries and allowed me to apply a commercial and strategic financial perspective to identify and seize opportunities. I’m excited to bring this expertise to CHR and contribute to the already impressive success you have all achieved so far.”

Beyond his professional achievements, Andrew also has a rich and active personal life: “Outside of work, I’m an avid runner with the goal of becoming the 33rd Kiwi to complete the six marathon majors; I have Tokyo and Boston left to conquer. Additionally, I play field hockey in the winter and cricket in the summer. As a New Zealander, I’m a passionate rugby fan, and I’m only now recovering from the heartbreak in Paris last year.”
