CHR are thrilled to win a Queen’s Award in 2020
10 December 2020
Since the start of our “CHR journey”, our diverse, talented and dynamic team has been the driving force behind our growth and success. This has been recognised, in this toughest of years, with the International Trade Award which forms part of the nationally acclaimed and prestigious Queen’s Awards for Enterprise 2020.
We are immensely proud as a company to have been recognised with this accolade. We feel it would not have been possible without our amazing team, both here in the UK and abroad. Their hard work, passion and dedication has enabled CHR to achieve significant growth whilst supporting our clients in the development and launch of new pharmaceutical products.
Because of this, we wanted to give them the opportunity to share what the Queen’s Award has meant for them, the company, and their colleagues.
What does it mean to you being part of a Company who has won the Queen’s Award?
Brendan Walkden BSc PhD, Principle
“The reaction to the award from our client-base, made up primarily of multi-national pharmaceutical companies has been extremely positive and has generated real interest in our company. Being part of a company that has won the Queen’s Award feels like true validation of the quality work we pride ourselves on delivering in each and every project. Winning the award has afforded everyone in the company the opportunity to talk about the impact we bring to our customers, household names in the global fight against disease and winning such a prestigious award is a clear sign we are on the right track to creating a very special company that provides value within the global healthcare ecosystem.”

Being based outside the UK, how do you feel about the award and about the company getting such a recognition?
Vera Malheiro PhD, Senior Associate Consultant
“I was not familiar with the prize but immediately thought it must be an important award, after all it was the “Queen’s” award! A little bit of reading just confirmed what an honour this accolade was and felt particularly important as it was given in the international trade category which speaks to the essence of who we are – boundless and diverse. So, how do I feel about the award? I feel privileged to work in a company that helps business no matter where they are, and I am proud that we are recognised for being successful at it, amongst the many companies that seek to do the same.”
