On March 8th, 2020 16 members of the CHR team ran the Saucony Cambridge Half Marathon, one of the UK’s biggest and most beautiful half marathons. Excitingly, there was a brand-new route this year, through two iconic colleges of the University of Cambridge: King’s College and Jesus College!

Staying active is essential to maintain physical and mental well-being and doing it all together adds to the fun! However, there is a way to make it even better: running to fundraise for great charitable causes like those supported by Level Water, The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association and Kidney Research UK! A special mention to Philipp Langer, our CHR Superstar, for finishing with the astonishing time of 1:38:24.

Through a significant number of donations to our giving page we could support these three amazing charities to get disabled children swimming and joining back in with mainstream lessons, to stand by the over 60,000 people who every year fight kidney failure and to empower those with sight loss to live the life they deserve, regain independence and integrate into society.
